I’ve never met a singing  job I didn’t like.

From delivering Singing Telegrams in Hollywood to singing my first Violetta in “La Traviata” in Central Park for 10,000 people with the New York Grand Opera — I have sung over 450 performances of operas, musicals and concerts from Grand Opera’s “Tosca” to Broadway’s “Oklahoma” in 35 countries from Dubai to Sri Lanka.

But one performance stands out in particular, “Carmen” with the Cairo Opera in which I met my future husband and now singing partner Metropolitan Opera baritone Theodore Lambrinos. Since we both love singing a wide range of music and on occasion battling high notes for the fun of it, I began writing my own shows, and — “A Scandalous Affair” followed by “The Diva and the Baritone” were born.

I am currently working on a very exciting project: a grand historical drama about faith, courage and the healing power of music. More on this coming soon…

Stay tuned for updates and my upcoming Blog!

Hallie has appeared in concert at Lincoln Center with the New York Grand Opera Orchestra and the Little Orchestra Society, and in leading operatic/musical theatre roles of Tosca, La Traviata, Carmen, Falstaff, Don Giovanni, La Boheme, Pagliacci, Die Fledermaus, Le Villi, The Merry Widow, Song of Norway, The Desert Song and Oklahoma with Marin Opera, Cairo Opera, Netherlands Opera, Opera Tampa, New York Grand Opera in Central Park, Anchorage Opera, Pensacola Opera, Metro Lyric Opera of New Jersey, San Diego Starlight Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, Opera 2001 European Tour and Teatro Lirico d’Europa in opera houses throughout Europe and the US.

As a playwright Hallie created the musical “A Scandalous Affair” about the love story of Hollywood film icons Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy in which she starred with her husband Metropolitan Opera baritone, Theodore Lambrinos in performances throughout the US including Lincoln Center and the famed Players Club in New York City. Their CD was featured on the 50th Annual Grammy Awards Entry List for “Best Musical Show Album.” Hallie also created “The Diva and the Baritone – Cole Porter to Puccini” with musical arrangements by Drama Desk Nominee Elliot Finkel.

Singing has taken Hallie around the world, touring with the Ambassadors of Opera in opera and musical theatre concerts appearing in over 35 countries from Dubai to Sri Lanka.

Her humanitarian and spokesperson work has included appearances on FOX NEWS TV with Kelly Wright’s “Beyond the Dream”, promoting the Coats4Kurdistan initiative to aid over 2 million refugees in Northern Iraq; with Chuck Scarborough, News 4 New York, NBC for a disease awareness program and as a Professional Ambassador for Women at Risk (War, International), to aid in their work to help victims of human trafficking.
